With the end of 2013 approaching, it is time for us to have a look at what was accomplished during this past year and thank a lot of people.

This year has surely been rich in technological progress for our company. Here are some highlights :

In 2013, Nasci integrated many additional analyses to its panel of clinical tests like :

–          Sperm DNA fragmentation analysis (Winter 2013)
–          Anti-sperm antibody detection (Spring 2013)
–          Sperm culture (Fall 2013)

But 2013 has also been the year during which Nasci has updated analysis methods by introducing more cytometry. It was the case with the introduction of leukospermia analysis by flow cytometry (Winter 2013).

Nevertheless, the impact of Nasci was more felt in the medical field because of the introduction of three entirely new clinical analyses on the face of the Earth which are :

–          Fertility spermogram PLUS
–          Vasovasostomy spermogram
–          Post-vasectomy spermogram by flow cytometry

We have also received nice recognitions. Dre Massicotte, laboratory director, was received as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. This honour is the the highest professional recognition of her profession.

It was also during year 2013 that I was chosen as one of the most promising entrepreneurs by the Fondation de la Famille Bronfman because of the business project that Nasci represents.

During 2013, we have received the visit of many researchers, practitioners, journalists, business partners that we would like to thank many times for their interest.

Now I want to dedicate a few words to our clients. Let us say thank you. Most of you have lived or are still going through difficult situations at many levels. We know how tormenting the situation is and obtaining your trust in this context is extremely gratifying for us. We have done all we could to be honour this trust. We sincerely wish you all the best in the future.
